Process Engineer

Their Madison facility is central to our operations, and we’re seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our team and help us deliver superior products and processes.
Position Overview: The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing production processes at the Madison facility. This role requires technical expertise, analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and have a strong grasp of process engineering principles within a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze and refine existing manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold product quality. Data Analysis: Use data analytics to monitor process performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address process issues, including equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and quality concerns.
- Project Management: Lead or support process improvement projects, including the design and implementation of new processes or modifications to existing ones.
- Compliance: Ensure processes adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and quality assurance, to achieve operational goals.
- Documentation: Maintain precise documentation of process changes, standard operating procedures, and process control plans.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment; experience in milling or food processing industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations.
