Procurement Specialist
SkyWater is partnering with a client in Minneapolis to find a Procurement Specialist for their growing business! In this role you would be responsible for acquiring materials, placing PO’s, developing supplier relationships, leading procurement projects and much more. Our client is an established manufacturer who’s experienced strong sales over the last year and is offering a solid pay & benefits package for this opportunity. We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree, 3-5 years of Purchasing, Procurement or Buying experience and strong communication skills (written & verbal).
Responsibilities:
- Develop & maintain supplier relationships.
- Work with Purchasing Manager to develop procurement strategies.
- Enter Purchase Orders for assigned materials.
- Maintain and track vendor KPI’s.
- Other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
- 3-5 years of Purchasing, Procurement or Buying experience.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Experience with packaged materials a plus.
