Product Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client to find a Product Manager for their growing team in Wisconsin! The Product Manager will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional groups and company leadership to best position their products in the market. This person will also oversee a team of two direct reports while overseeing the product management function. Our client is a global manufacturer who’s currently going through some exciting growth and they’re offering excellent compensation, benefits, and career advancement opportunities!
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams (engineering, sales, marketing, etc.) to best position products in the market.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and get customer feedback on products.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and conduct competitor analysis as needed.
- Manage a small team and help train/mentor these employees.
- Other responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field of study.
- 3-5 years of applicable experience in a product management, project management, or sales/applications engineering role (within a manufacturing setting).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Knowledge & understanding of product marketing strategies & positioning.
