We’ve been retained by a $350M privately held global business to help find their next Product Portfolio Manager. 

Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for managing products and solutions? We’re looking for a Product Portfolio Manager to take charge of the product life cycle for one of our local clients. This role is a hybrid role and will be tasked with owning the mobile product portfolio which represents over half the revenue of the organization. 
 

As the Product Portfolio Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for all things related to financial performance, market share objectives, and resource requirements. Your main goal will be to make sure the portfolio is profitable, and you’ll work closely with market segment leaders, regional marketing leaders, and operational teams to make sure that happens. You’ll also be the point person for troubleshooting issues or opportunities that arise during development and after launch, all while keeping customer satisfaction and brand reputation in mind.
 

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the customer and user needs that the portfolio solutions support.

• Creating and executing a plan for simplifying the product portfolio

• Driving initiatives for business metric improvements, value add improvements, simplification of product offerings, and inventory reduction.

• Managing the health of the portfolio by leading regular SKU rationalization assessments

• Identifying and managing innovation opportunities in core, adjacent, and emerging markets and technology categories
   

We’re looking for someone with strong business and financial acumen with experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Business Operations, with a focus on hard goods and tangible technology products. A B.A. or B.S. in Business, Engineering, or Finance is preferred. Strong cross-functional leadership skills and a collaborative working style are a must.
