Product Specialist – Heavy Equipment

The product specialist will support service, technical troubleshooting, parts, and repair for customers. Resolving service needs in a timely manner by providing over the phone support will be essential to the success of this position. 

In this position, you’ll be asked to learn the ins and outs of product characteristics, benefits, features, and troubleshooting requirements and be a go-to person for creating and maintaining product training documents and manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and execute parts and service orders with customers
  • Provide technical troubleshooting for customers regarding heavy equipment repairs
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner and route/escalate calls appropriately
  • Maintain and update product manuals and internal training guides

Desired Skills and Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • 2 year technical degree in automotive, mechanical, electrical, or equipment related field is a plus
  • Customer service skills or experience
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office and/or ERP system
  • Ability to read technical, mechanical documents
  • Hands-on experience repairing engines, automotive components, mechanical parts, and/or welding is a plus
