Program Engineer

Our client has a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for an engineer to oversee the project management of their new product development initiatives. This role involves leading program teams, coordinating with various departments, and championing the internal new product development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee program implementation within budget constraints
Lead program teams to efficiently utilize time, resources, and mitigate risks.
• Manage internal and customer meetings, ensuring projects align with program scope.
• Coordinate projects from inception to production readiness or completion
• Prepare justification for capital equipment acquisition and oversee project expenditures.
• Coordinate communication with stakeholders and report progress to leadership.
• Drive effective team communication across sites and functions.
• Lead problem-solving discussions and resolve complex engineering issues.
• Develop manufacturing processes concurrent to product design activities.
• Lead design review processes for new products and maintain engineering documentation.
• Provide technical assistance to other departments as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3-4 years of Manufacturing Product Development Engineering experience with sheet metal.
• Cross-functional product development/program management experience required.
• Familiarity with Advanced Failure Analysis and problem-solving concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Pro-E and/or SolidWorks 3D modeling.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% – domestically and internationally.
