Quality Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client to find a Quality Engineer for their growing team! This person will be responsible for working directly with customers on quality issues, supporting internal & external audits, identifying corrective actions, partnering with internal engineering teams on projects and much more. We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field), 1-5 years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience (or combination of similar experience) and strong communication skills. Our client is a well-established plastics manufacturer who’s been growing at a consistent clip. Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers on quality issues.
- Partner with internal production teams on quality projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify corrective actions.
- Other projects or responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience within quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting (plastics preferred but not required).
