Quality Engineer
Position Overview: Our St. Paul Client is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality standards of products and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement quality control measures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor team members on quality practices and standards.
- Support the development and documentation of quality metrics and reports.
- Participate in product design reviews and process evaluations to ensure quality requirements are met.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
