Quality Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find a Quality Manager for their team! The QM will oversee quality programs & processes while also implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Our client is an established & successful distributor headquartered in town with multiple locations across North America. We’re looking for a strong quality manager or a senior quality engineer with ISO 9001:2015 experience who’s looking to make an impact with a successful small business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain & develop quality management systems and processes.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
- Work directly with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize lean manufacturing tools and lead Kaizen events as necessary.
- Other responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in quality engineering positions (or combination of similar roles).
- ISO9001:2015 experience preferred.
- Ability to travel (about 25%).
