Quality Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a new client based in the West Metro area to find their next Quality Manager. This company has been seeing some awesome growth. In fact, they have a couple Quality Manager openings at separate locations. They’re looking for someone that can lead a team and own the Quality department. The Quality Manager will oversee processes & lead continuous improvement initiatives. We’re looking for someone that’s led a quality team, implemented LEAN and has the drive to grow with a fast-paced organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain & develop quality management systems and processes.
- Conduct internal audits and supplier audits as needed.
- Work directly with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize lean manufacturing tools
- Getting on ground level and mentoring others
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in quality engineering or management positions (or combination of similar roles).
- Metals & Machining experience preferred
- ISO9001 experience preferred
