Regional Sales Manager – Metal Fab
Our client is a leading CNC machining and metal fabrication company specializing in prototyping and additive manufacturing. They have been around for over 35 years and serve customers across the upper Midwest with a focus in Minnesota and Wisconsin. They have added new state of the art equipment in recent years and are set for growth. They provide solutions and applications for customers across several industries such as commercial, industrial, energy, automotive, medical, aerospace, electronics, and consumer products. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business and develop relationships with current customers and will be responsible for leading a team of 3 direct reports. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can effectively bridge technical project oversight with high-impact sales execution. This individual will report to the VP of Sales and will be a key asset in strategy of new customer acquisition. They compensate well through competitive base salary plus bonus, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
- Participates in the creation of a sales plan to increase profitability
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand market presence within the territory
- Responsible for owning key customer relationships, and driving new business
- Facilitate collaboration between sales, estimating, operations, and project delivery teams
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of estimates, proposals, and project documentation
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or related degree required
- Ability to travel in the upper Midwest – overnight travel is limited
- Technical aptitude is preferred
- Basic ability to read blueprints and understanding of measurement equipment
- Experience working and selling in a manufacturing environment
