Our client is a leading distributor of OEM and specialty mechanical components that operates across the nation. They specialize in being one of the few full-service distributors of high quality industrial consumable products.
They are seeking to add a Sales Engineer to their salesforce to help build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. This opportunity is a mix of account management, meaning this individual will be inheriting profiting customer accounts, while also being able to uncover new clients through business development. The ideal candidate will need to have a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. In addition, have related industrial sales experience with evolving new/pre-existing client accounts, and pursue sales leads within their assigned territory. This position will be reporting directly and work closely with the Branch Manager. They compensate “very-well” through competitive base salary plus commissions and health benefits.
Must be located in Twin Cities or the surrounding metro area within 45 min – 1 hour.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Min. 3-7 years of related sales experience in industrial sales or account management.
- Must have prior experience promoting industrial consumables products
- Familiar with industrial environments and comfortable with selling into a manufacturing setting.
