Senior Accountant
SkyWater is partnering with a leader in the technology marketplace that is looking for a senior accountant as they continue to grow! Our client provides both new and recertified technology ranging from chromebooks, desktops, servers, storage, and networking hardware. Their professionals and partners provide custom solutions for learning institutions to make integration seamless. Located in the heart of the Twin Cities, this location is ideal. Responsibilities
- Key role in month-end close, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
- Key role in annual financial statement and treasury audits, as well as tax compliance requests
- Assist with treasury functions and new account set-up to maintain segregation of duties
- Prepare and report monthly debt compliance and borrowing base
- Maintain tax compliance software (Avalara), compile, and file sales and use tax returns
- Work cross functionally to identify areas of opportunity within the organization
- Assist with integrating accounting systems and processes from recent acquisitions as needed
- Research accounting topics as needed
