Senior Accountant

In this newly established role, you will play a crucial part as the primary operational accounting business partner within the organization.

Responsibilities
- Serve as finance/accounting lead for all aspects of fixed asset management; partnering with operations to manage assets-in-progress, asset additions, disposals, and overall tracking and maintenance of fixed assets register.
- Lead critical aspects of the month-end close process, including performing and approving various account recs.
- Manage critical cost accounting tasks on a timely basis; completing standard cost setup for new items, rolling standard cost versions and creating revaluations as needed, as well as providing data and logic for allocation methodologies of overheads.
- Prepare and propose inventory reserve in partnership with planning and operations.
- Provide internal controls leadership over critical operational balance sheet line items including, fixed assets, inventory, etc.
- Support regular and ad hoc requests as needed
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years’ preferably in a manufacturing or CPG.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by being adaptable and resilient to change.
