Senior Accounting Manager
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations for a recently acquired subsidiary based in Chicago. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire month-end close process
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and key metrics
- Establish and enforce accounting policies
- Oversee treasury functions and banking projects
- Supervise the accounting team and coordinate with other departments
- Assist with audits, compliance, and system integrations
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes
Desired Skills and Experience
CPA required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 7+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software Strong organizational and communication skills
