SkyWater has been retained by a family owned, twin-cities based construction company with great year over year growth to find a Senior Business Development Manager to add to their team. Their focus is on utility construction, fiber optic, and wireless construction. This is a newly created position due to growth and will present future leadership opportunities as they continue to expand their services outside of the Midwest and Southeast territories. This position reports directly to the president of the company, and will be tasked with hunting new business with government, municipalities, and enterprise clients. This is a long, complex sales cycle working to win bids with their service offerings.

Responsibilities

Work with prospective government & and enterprise clients on bids for construction services Forecast sales pipeline as it relates to future projects Network and attend industry events to showcase company capabilities Meet with array of contacts including City Commissioners, planners, new building project managers to obtain bids

Desired Skills and Experience

5+ years experience within the construction industry(underground construction a plus) History of working within government and municipality sales in construction space Strong business development acumen especially in long, complex sales cycles
