Senior Director of Technology
Our client is looking to bring on a Senior Director of Technology to oversee both the infrastructure and software/ERP side of their business. This well established Minnesota company has been around for several decades and continues to provide leadership within their market in the upper Midwest.
This is a new role for the company responsible for all technology direction that includes a small team of outstanding hands-on technologists. You would outline both short term and long term technology roadmaps and aide in the continued success of ensuring all initiatives support both internal and most importantly, external customers. Someone with a background in retail operations would be able to provide immediate guidance, but that experience is not necessary.
This position offers competitive compensation and benefits with long term growth opportunities as well. This role does require to be onsite in the Minneapolis headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership over the selection, implementation, management, and performance of all Information Systems, both hardware and software, that support the strategic direction
- Builds and manages relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization; creates cross-functional teams optimized for successful business execution
- Ensure Enterprise Applications projects/portfolio are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner, incorporates effective change and risk management controls, and is responsible for the management of the demand management process
- Builds and executes system roadmaps and provides technology guidance, best practices, standards and principles to support corporate strategy and goals endorsed by stakeholders. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
- Maintains network security and PCI compliance standards.
- Lead team to define, document and standardize business needs, business processes, flows and diagram within the new system or application deployments
- Partner with business leaders to prioritize user requirements and functional requirements
