We are partnering with a great organization that is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst onto their team. This role is open due to an internal promotion and will be supporting our clients financial planning and analysis functions for one of our client’s largest business units. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will collobarate with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making, optimize financial processes, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst position and a strong background in financial modeling, strategic planning, and data analysis.  

Responsibilities

  • 1) Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making. 2) Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to gather input, review assumptions, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts, highlighting key drivers and potential risks. 3) Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances against budget and forecast.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. 4) Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Sales, and Technology, to gather and analyze financial data for decision support.
  • Act as a finance business partner, providing insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and financial performance. 5) Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and actively contribute to the implementation of best practices.
  • Streamline financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, with at least 3 years in a similar position
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to think critically.
