The Senior HR business partner (Sr. HRBP) role is responsible for aligning HR objectives to business objectives for designated client groups and developing integrated solutions to achieve them. The HRBP serves as a consultant to leadership on human resources-related issues. The successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent. The HRBP leverages deep knowledge of the business and strong relationships across the HR function to collectively achieve results. The Senior HR business partner supports approximately 425 employees across Minneapolis, Minnesota and Los Angeles, California. 


·Drive meaningful HR processes by establishing effective routines with leaders and maintaining open lines of communication.
·Partner with leaders to provide guidance and tactical support on HR related topics (workforce and succession planning, compensation, hiring, performance management, development, etc.) and utilize the collective HR team to align people strategies with business goals.
·Leverage strategic thinking and business acumen to contribute to strategy and decision making; challenge prevailing wisdom and propose ideas that lead to better strategic decisions.
·Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders; serve as a trusted thought partner, influencing, coaching and providing guidance as needed; act as a change agent to support business needs.
·Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies; Use data and insight to diagnose and resolve issues that affect organizational performance.
·Serve as an expert on team and talent effectiveness strategies; work closely with leaders and employees to improve performance, build employee engagement and increase productivity and retention.
·Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
·Ensure complex employee relations issues are resolved through a partnership with Employee Relations. Support (and occasionally lead) the investigation and resolution process. 
·Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with Employee Relations and the legal department as needed/required.



·Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
·7+ years of experience in Human Resources
·4+ years of experience working in a Human Resources Business Partner role
·Working knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines (e.g. compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws)
·Experience leading and/or supporting Change Management efforts
·High level of comfort with Microsoft Office tools, including the ability to perform workforce analytics in Excel
·Ability to travel to multiple work sites occasionally/as needed
·Highly persuasive influencing and negotiating skills, including experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders. 
·Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with HR and business leaders
·Strong work ethic and self-motivated; ability to set and manage priorities, multi-task and pivot as priorities change




·SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification
·Experience working within an HRIS system (e.g. Workday); gather and analyze employee data to identify trends and inform decisions for driving positive change within the business unit
·Exposure to leading project/process work that showcases attention to detail and organizational ability to effectively organize, plan, control and prioritize work/projects
·Experience supporting call center operations as a Human Resources Business Partner
·Experience supporting multiple sites and remote workforce
·Virtual work experience
