Senior Sales Executive – IT
Our client is a reputable and growing IT solutions company with IT managed services and products. They have a huge presence in the Midwest with their account base in the mid-market along with large enterprise accounts. They have two offices here in the upper Midwest (1 in MN) and this opportunity will have the ability to work remotely. They will also have internal sales support, customer service support and engineering technical support for this position. This is an outside sales position growing new business, building out a territory along with relationship management. If you have a network and experience in this industry (IT, SaaS, Software, or Professional Services), this position can be very lucrative as they pay out higher commissions than industry standard! Responsibilities
- Prospect for new accounts and drive new business development
- Achieve or exceed quarterly & annual revenue and margin goals
- Build a pipeline of potential opportunities and log them in CRM system
- Monitor and mediate all necessary communication between customer, vendor, and technical resources within each account
- Build strong relationships within the customer’s organization to identify problems and assist the customer in finding appropriate solutions as a trusted advisor to the client
- Be timely and responsive to all customer quotes & inquiries
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience selling IT or software services
- Self-motivated and relationship oriented
- Business development experience in growing a territory
- Solution seller and able to identify client problems
- Ability to establish and develop relationships
