Senior Sales Executive – Logistics

Our client is a leading logistics and full service transportation company that partners with manufacturing companies and customers across the globe. They are seeking to add a Senior Sales Executive to help grow business with new accounts. The role will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and ensuring that sales targets are met across all business units. This individual must be knowledgeable in the logistics space and have experience navigating through complex supply chains and developing solutions. They compensate well through base salary and commissions. 

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new customers and leads
  • Customer relationship management
  • Quoting and securing business
  • Manage freight pick-up and delivery
  • Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Follow up on generated warm leads

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of business development, sales experience
  • Knowledge or experience in logistics is required
  • 3PL and brokerage experience is highly desired
  • Operations and supply chain knowledge is preferred
