Senior Sales Executive – SLED/FED

The goal of the partnership is to add a strategic Senior Sales Executive-SLED/FED to their growing digital security sales team. This reputable organization’s technology ensures data protection for industry sectors that include financial institutions, healthcare, government, enterprise, education, and retail. The Senior Sales Executive-SLED/FED is tasked with successfully developing relationships with named accounts to drive business forward, as well as uncover and develop new business with Federal, State, Local and Education departments. The ideal candidate will have vast knowledge of the IT/Data Security market space, expertise selling into the SLED/FED vertical, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of consistently over-achieving quota.
- Develop relationships with appropriate decision makers within targeted accounts
- Utilize channel relationships to expand and open accounts
- Drive and close direct sales to ensure territory meets its quarterly and annual commitments
- Create annual/quarterly business plans and reviews to ensure performance against plan and strategic imperatives
- Act as mentor and resource within sales team
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years’ experience selling products & services in IT/Data Security space
- 2 years’ experience selling into the SLED/FED vertical
- Technical aptitude; experience or knowledge in PKI, TLS, HSM’s
- Proven experience in full cycle enterprise account sales
- Excellent solution selling, presentation, territory planning, and communication skills
