Sr. Business Manager
SkyWater has partnered with a Twin Cities-based organization to find a Contracts Research Manager. Our client is local to Minneapolis, under 50 employees, and has been growing despite ups and downs in the economy over the last 40 years. This is an organization that is proud to offer solutions and services for the betterment of society and is a company its employees are proud to work for.
We are looking to help them hire a Business Operations Manager. This is a relatively new position with lots of green grass to help write the roadmap and define the process of how business is done at the organization and we are targeting someone that isn’t afraid of developing the playbook.
To be a fit, this person will have experience in the public health or research spaces. This organization deals with contracts on a regular basis, and experience digesting and understanding these agreements will be important. This person should also have experience with gathering requirements, creating new processes, project management, working alongside the finance department and helping support internal stakeholders. All to say – many hats will be worn in this position and attention to detail + being self sufficient will be extremely important.
Must be local to MN to work in a hybrid environment, and not require sponsorship.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4 year degree
- 5+ years professional experience as a Business Manager or similar
- Experience in public health, research, or similar
- Experience with contracts (government, regulated, or similar)
- Strong technical skills within Excel
- Local to MN, no sponsorship
