Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer in Transmission to join our client’s team. In this role, you will lead efforts on one or more high-voltage transmission projects and coordinate with Developers of related generation projects, the Technical, Real Estate, Legal, Design, and Construction teams. You will be responsible for the steady advancement of all development discipline areas in one or more high-voltage transmission line projects, manage and maintain development budget and resources, exhibit strong project management skills, and coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes. You will participate in M&A activities which pertain to the development and construction of high-voltage elements of prospective projects, monitor high-voltage transmission trends within the US industry, and provide guidance and direction on real estate, easement, ROW, crossing and permitting matters.

Responsibilities: • Direct development efforts of one or more high-voltage transmission lines • Responsible for the steady advancement of all development discipline areas in one or more high-voltage transmission line projects • Manage and maintain development budget and resources related to the specific efforts • Exhibit strong project management skills and resource coordination • Effectively schedule, identify and maintain critical path tasks and provide necessary creative mitigation solutions to address schedule or budget constraints • Actively coordinate and manage internal and external resources for aligned goals and successful outcomes • Regularly report progress and plan updates • Coordinate with company peers and provide sound direction to reporting Developers, Associate Developer or Specialists • Participate in M&A activities which pertain to the development and construction of high-voltage elements of prospective projects • Monitor high-voltage transmission trends within the US industry • Provide guidance and direction on real estate, easement, ROW, crossing and permitting matters • Critically assess all third-party work product for consistency and quality assurance prior to external release

Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience within consulting, utility, or development organizations with significant transmission development experience relating to utility-scale high-voltage transmission projects and associated generation • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred
