Sr. Electrical Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with a privately held manufacturing company in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to find a Sr. Electrical Engineer for their growing team ($10M+ growth over past 2 years)! You’ll be joining a company that is has an awesome culture and is nearly doubling in growth each year. This person will be a pivotal part of their development engineering team. This role will be sitting on a high performing team of 10 and developing products from prototype through production
Responsibilities
- Innovate and develop digital hardware for use in their products
- Create schematic diagrams and engineer multilayer PCBs
- Conduct simulations, tests, and validation procedures for hardware designs
- Execute thermal analysis and validation processes for design robustness
- Develop firmware using languages like C, schematic tools, or VHDL
- Autonomously manage projects through effective peer collaboration
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of Electrical Engineering experience designing linear and digital circuits
- Display fluency in schematic capture and PCB layout using mainstream software such as OrCad, Mentor, Altium, etc.
- Experienced in thermal analysis of designs
- Power Supply design experience preferred
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment characteristic of an emerging growth company
