Sr. Field Service Engineer
We’re excited to partner with a new privately held manufacturer in the Water industry. They manufacturer and install large industrial water applications for clients all over the country. The Field Service Engineer will be a big part of the company when it comes to installing and commissioning their equipment. This person will be providing support to customers throughout the US. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment, helping with assembly, training others on each system along with implementing the equipment at the customer site. This company has been experiencing some extreme growth over the past few years and are looking to add to their field service team!
Responsibilities
- Install and commission custom water treatment systems and equipment Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Coordinating with Project Managers and customers on the timeline , startup and commissioning of each system
- Train others on equipment operations and maintenance
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
- Work cross functionally with internal departments on what needs to be purchased and executed for each project.=
- Provide technical expertise on all projects of mechanical, electrical, chemical, instrumentation and automation systems.
- Mange client relationships throughout each project.
- Conduct meetings with contractors, project management and the customer on the scope and timeline of each project.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of Field Service Engineering experience
- Experiences commissioning, testing and troubleshooting complex machinery
- Strong mechanical, electrical and programming aptitude
- Water Treatment equipment experience preferred
- Excellent project management and problem solving skills
- Proven work experience working with engineering, operations and supply chain departments
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time to customer sites.
