Sr. Mechanical Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with a growing engineering services firm in the Minneapolis/St Paul area to find a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team! The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will design HVAC, plumbing & piping systems for industrial & commercial facilities. Our client has been successfully operating in the Twin Cities market for 40 years and offers a variety of engineering services (mechanical, electrical, facilities, construction, etc.). Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, plumbing and piping systems for industrial & commercial facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams & contractors on projects (electrical, architectural, structural, etc.).
- Generate mechanical schedules, equipment specifications, and construction documentation for projects.
- Conduct site visits and verify & document project conditions to ensure design accuracy.
- Other duties or responsibilities as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience or combination of similar experience.
- Experience designing HVAC systems, plumbing systems, or similar projects.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Proficient with Revit or AutoCAD.
