Sr. Product Development Engineer
SkyWater is excited to be partnering with a NEW manufacturing client located in near Madison, WI. Our client is the leader in their industry and they’re looking to add to their Product Development team. They need a strong Sr. Product Development engineer that’s open to a variety and looking to expand their knowledge to a few different areas. This will play a key role on their NPD team designing new equipment and working with a variety of different products. The company is continuing to see growth each year and this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced organization!
Responsibilities
- Design custom components with 3D CAD Modeling
- Work with customers to meet specs within scope and budget
- Designing new products and updating existing products
- Work with manufacturing on modifying and revising designs for cost savings
- Oversee new product launches and work with internal departments on new/existing products
- Develop new methods to improve product and development processes.
- Working on a cross-functional team with sales and customers on product specification.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years Design/Product Development Engineering experience
- Experience with CAD Modeling designing components
- Materials experience preferred
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
