Sr. Quality Manager

Job Summary: As the Sr. Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality processes throughout our organization. Your primary objective will be to develop, implement, and maintain effective quality control procedures and systems to guarantee the consistent delivery of products that meet or exceed customer expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and procurement, to drive continuous improvement and optimize quality performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain a quality management system, including documentation, record-keeping, and corrective action processes.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product quality specifications, standards, and performance indicators.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Analyze quality data, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Champion root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D) to investigate quality incidents and drive effective solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components, establishing supplier quality agreements and conducting periodic assessments.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in quality assurance and quality management, preferably in the building materials or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and tools, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, statistical process control (SPC), and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving quality objectives.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
