Sr. Sales Engineer – IT

The goal of the partnership is to add a Sr. Sales Engineer-Strategic Accounts to their growing digital security sales team. This reputable organization’s technology ensures data protection for industry sectors that include financial institutions, healthcare, government, enterprise, education, and retail. With a network of global partners and customers in over 150 countries, it’s no wonder the world’s most respected companies partner with this fast-growing organization.
The Sr. Sales Engineer is tasked with successfully driving pre-sales activities with named accounts to move business forward, as well as present in front of technical audiences. The ideal candidate will have vast knowledge of the IT/Data Security market space, excellent pre-sales presentation skills, and a proven track record of consistently assisting in the closing of business.
- Work alongside sales reps to develop tailored products for strategic clients
- Find pain points and talk through technical specs with clients
- Put together strong presentations of tailored digital security products
- Answer technical questions from all interested parties involved in the sales process
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years experience in pre-sales activities in IT/Data Security space
- Strong technical aptitude, experience in PKI, TLS, HSM’s preferred
- Strong executive presence presenting to enterprise accounts
- Excellent solution selling based on identifying pain points of clients
