Sr. Supply Chain Manager
SkyWater Search has partnered with a global leader in the capital equipment industry! They are looking to build out their supply chain excellence team with a Supply Chain Manager, which is a brand-new role. This is a highly visible role where you’ll work cross functionally with manufacturing, operations, sales, service, and supply chain team.
Responsibilities
- Manage component issues across the firm, working with leaders in manufacturing, quality, CI, material control, strategic sourcing, and sales.
- Solicit support from engineering and continuous improvement to help improve supplier performance
- Coach and Mentor Supply Chain teams to improve engagement with local sales, engineering, and operations stakeholders, through establish of regular and transparent communication between the functional teams.
- Works closely with production leaders and their teams to support and drive continuous improvement within the operations, through various KPI’s and goals
- Leverage data-driven analysis to make allocation decisions
- Collaborate with material control to ensure allocation adherence
- Lead transformative initiatives to drive continuous improvement, agility, and visibility across the supply chain through evaluation of new technologies and industry best practices.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Science
- 7+ years of overall experience within supply chain or operations
- Use data driven methodologies to resolve issues, and constantly seek to gain knowledge and skills through deeper utilization of available data.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively
- Change management leadership experience
