Staff Accountant (100% Remote)
We are partnering with a worldwide leader in their space to help build out their US corporate accounting team. This company works with well-known consumer brands and helps bring them to the global online marketplace.
With a strong global foundation, they are looking to continue their expansion and growth in the US with ambitious growth plans and looking to go public next year.
This Staff Accountant role will support the US corporate accounting and finance teams and work closely with other departments and external parties. This is a 100% remote opportunity with plenty of growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and month-end close processes accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring key accounts are supported.
- Assist in the generation of monthly financial reporting packages to the global finance team.
- Manage, record and reconcile revenue transactions in general ledger system.
- Manage, record and reconcile AR and AP transactions, including invoicing, payments and reconciliations.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and analysis between the general ledger and supporting financial systems.
- Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts as needed.
- Execute SOC 404 and 302 controls for assigned areas.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years related accounting/finance experience
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
