Staff Accountant
SkyWater is partnering with a Human Resources Services company here in the Twin Cities. They are looking for a Staff Accountant to come onto their team as they continue to grow! The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and be hungry and eager to learn. If you are looking for a company with a great culture, flexible schedule and will give you more responsibilities/exposure, this might be a great fit! This is a remote position and Associates or Bachelor’s Degree required. New graduates welcome.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Process and pay vendor invoices
- Code and process employee expense reports for reimbursement
- Monitor corporate credit cards
- Assist with cash management and forecasting
- Issue 1099s to required vendors
- Field vendor calls and emails Accounts Receivable
- Process and post payments to client accounts
- Collect on past due client accounts and provide updates to management
- Work with internal departments to resolve client billing issues and requests
- Month end accruals and adjusting journal entries
- Balance sheet account reconciliations Other
- Procedure documentation and process improvements
- Implement new systems and system enhancements
- Assist with projects and accounting related ad hoc requests
