Position Title: Entry-Level Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Technical Expertise 

  • Develop detailed and compliant structural designs in line with current standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of project documents and specifications.
  • Conduct research, investigations, and assist in structural engineering tasks across diverse projects.

Project Coordination 

  • Engage in project meetings, ensuring efficient multitasking across multiple assignments.
  • Assist in maintaining project timelines and deliverables to maximize client satisfaction.

Administrative Support 

  • Keep project records up-to-date to facilitate accurate client invoicing and timely payments.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of project hours.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to secure within 6 months.
  • Up to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Genuine interest in structural engineering, design innovation, and a strong commitment to team and client success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct field inspections and testing as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree specifically in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Experience through an internship focused on structural engineering.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations.
  • Active participation in community or university engineering activities.

Work Environment:

  • Office and field environments, including construction sites.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions such as noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
