Tax Accountant
A mission driven company looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who can get behind their mission as part of a succession plan. This company has great employee retention rates. This role will have the opportunity to take part in a lot of special projects outside of their day-to-day tasks. This will be a 80-90% remote role with a lot of flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Identification of processes for accurate reporting and collection of sales tax
- Collaborate with internal customers on research and resolution of sales tax issues
- Review automated self-assessed use tax for refund opportunities and identify/implement corrective action
- Prepare and review sales and use tax returns in jurisdictions across the United States
- Responsible for accurate personal property tax reporting across the United States
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4 year Accounting or Finance Degree
- 1+ years of multi-state sales and use tax experience
- 1+ years of multi-state property tax experience
