Principal, Client Development

Josh Schneider serves as Principal, Client Development at SkyWater Search Partners, where he focuses on building new relationships, expanding partnerships, and bringing new search opportunities to the firm across both the Chicago and Minneapolis markets.

Over the past decade, Josh has played a key role in establishing and growing SkyWater’s presence in Chicago, particularly within Accounting & Finance. Through that work, he has developed strong, long-term relationships with organizations ranging from publicly traded companies to private equity-backed and family-owned businesses.

With his years of experience spanning public accounting, industry, and executive search, Josh brings a deep understanding of how organizations hire and what they need to succeed. His background in audit, tax, and cross-functional partnership with executive leadership allows him to take a thoughtful, consultative approach when working with clients. Today, he applies that experience toward connecting organizations with the right expertise at the right time, helping initiate searches that align with critical business needs.

Josh holds degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Outside of work, you’ll find Josh leading activities with his daughter’s Girl Scout troop, cooking new recipes at home, and staying active through hiking, skiing, and pickleball.
