Engineering Project Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Southern Minnesota to find an Engineering Project Manager for their team! The Engineering PM will be responsible for leading capital equipment projects while working closely with company leadership throughout these project lifecycles. This includes justifying equipment, maintaining project budgets, working with plant leadership on projects, adhering to industry standards, and overseeing installation & maintenance of plant equipment. Our client is a Southern Minnesota food producer who’s been steadily growing and recently invested in expanding their site & updating their production equipment. Responsibilities
- Oversee capital equipment project timelines & budgets.
- Partner with plant leadership and update them on project milestones or changes (as needed).
- Work with internal engineering teams throughout project lifecycles and lead cross-functional team members on projects.
- Oversee equipment installation and maintenance.
- Adhere to food industry standards and regulations on projects.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering or project management experience (or combination of experience).
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Experience working in food production or similar GMP environment required.
- PMP certification preferred (but not required).
