Human Resources Specialist
SkyWater Search Partners is working with a long-standing construction equipment company to hire their next HR Specialist. This client has been family-owned for 3 generations and is rapidly expanding through both organic growth and acquisitions. This person will report to the Director of Human Resources and be part of a small HR team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of the recruiting process
- Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation
- Provide benefits support
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing
- Collaborate on broader HR initiatives
- Provide reconciliation and auditing support
- Keep up with state and federal legislations and ensure compliance to those regulations
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant HR work experience
- 2+ years supporting an hourly workforce
- Proactive self-starter
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience supporting union employees preferred
