Sales Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a locally-owned exterior restoration contractor who has served the MN market for 20 years. With a reputation for excellence, they have won multiple awards and rank in the Top 10 for MN contractors.
As they continue to build out their Rochester branch, they are adding a Sales Manager to grow sales in the local territory (no overnight travel), with a clear path to leading a team. They hire for the skillset and personality instead of industry experience, training what you would need to know about roofing and siding.
They’re offering a true base salary of $75K+ with uncapped commission, and this individual will bring in $150K – $180K in year one, earning $250k+ down the road.
This is a consultative, B2C opportunity focused on retail sales and not storm-chasing.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth in the Rochester territory through in-home consultations and relationship-based selling
- Deliver a consultative, educational sales experience to homeowners considering roofing and siding projects
- Represent the company’s values and reputation for quality while building long-term customer trust
- Collaborate with leadership to meet revenue targets and prepare for future team leadership responsibilities
- Support the ongoing development of the Rochester branch by contributing local market insights and sales feedback
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in B2C or consultative sales, with strong communication and persuasion skills
- Comfortable working independently and driving sales from lead to close
- Motivated by performance-based compensation with a desire to earn $200k
- Leadership potential with interest or experience in mentoring others or stepping into a management role
- Adaptable and quick to learn industry-specific knowledge with provided training (no roofing experience required)
