Electrical Design Engineer
We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role focuses on the design and development of reliable, high-performance electronics that serve the needs of modern building automation systems. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product direction and work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and manufacturing professionals.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits for environmental sensors and control devices
- Create schematics, oversee PCB layout, and support prototyping and validation testing
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and improve existing designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation including design files, specifications, and test plans
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic product design
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD)
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment for debugging and validation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience:
- Background in HVAC, building automation, or sensor-based product development
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (UL, CE, FCC)
- Experience with embedded microcontrollers or C programming is a plus
