Sales Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find a Sales Engineer for their team! Our client is a privately-held machinery manufacturer that we’ve placed multiple people with over the last few years. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for growing sales within existing accounts and generating new sales & accounts. This is a capital equipment sales role focused in the industrial sector (processing equipment). Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain relationships with new & existing customers.
- Prepare technical sales presentations for clients.
- Partner with internal engineering teams to ensure projects meet customer specifications.
- Answer customer questions about products and make recommendations as needed.
- Attend trade shows and stay up to date on industry trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3+ years of Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, or a similar role (or combination of roles).
- Experience selling capital equipment, processing equipment, or similar industry preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic & international).
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
