Accounting Manager
SkyWater Search Partners is excited to partner with a tech services company that is adding an Accounting Manager to their team. While many companies are calling employees back to the office full-time, this company maintains a hybrid work environment, with 2–3 days on-site in Minneapolis. Local candidates to Minnesota will only be considered.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of day-to-day accounting: general ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, invoicing, and collections. Drive efficiency in the monthly and quarterly close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Produce financial statements and reports that inform strategic decision-making. Strengthen internal controls and champion best practices across the finance function. Collaborate with executives to translate financial insights into actionable strategies. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning to fuel organizational growth. Lead and integrate system implementations across accounting, HRIS, and project accounting. Manage and mentor a global team of accountants, fostering development and performance. Oversee international financial consolidations and processes as operations expand globally. Desired Skills and Experience
What You Bring: 5+ years of accounting or auditing experience with leadership responsibilities with some of that experience being in public accounting. CPA preferred with a desire to maintain an active license. Experience with international accounting or statutory-to-GAAP consolidation is a plus. Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting research. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Advanced Excel and analytical skills to generate insights quickly. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on meeting deadlines. Positive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset.
