Infrastructure Operations Manager (Azure, MN Hybrid)
SkyWater has partnered with a manufacturing business to find a dynamic and experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead our Cloud Platform Team. This role is critical in shaping the future of our cloud strategy, ensuring our platforms are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective—while aligning with broader organizational goals.
This company boasts a great culture, and long track record of growth. We are looking for someone local to the East Metro and willing to be onsite.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, platform architects, and DevSecOps specialists. Drive the strategic direction of cloud infrastructure and platform services. Oversee the design, implementation, and operations of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions. Champion automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevSecOps practices. Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and cost of cloud infrastructure. Partner with stakeholders across IT, security, and product teams to align technology with business needs. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and cost optimization initiatives.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 10+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience. 3+ years of people management experience in an enterprise environment. Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus). Hands-on experience with IaC, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation frameworks. Solid understanding of databases, servers, storage, networking, and security. Proven leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
