SkyWater is partnering with a returning family-owned manufacturing client in the Minneapolis – St. Paul area to help them find a Marketing Manager for their growing team. They’re a mid-sized company and pride themselves on a collaborative approach, delivering custom solutions to meet the unique needs of their clients. As a smaller organization, they offer a tight-knit and supportive work environment where employees have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and continuously expand their skill sets. They’re projecting strong growth in the upcoming years and aren’t showing any signs of slowing down. This person will be joining a team that currently has a Fractional CMO in place that will be leaving in 9 months and will be showing this person the ropes and allowing them to flourish after building a strong infrastructure with a marketing coordinator, systems and tools all set up. 

You will design and deliver integrated marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness, generate leads, and support revenue growth across diverse industrial and technical markets. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a collaborative, high-integrity environment.
 

Responsibilities

Support and execute the annual marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth goals and product priorities. Manage digital and traditional campaigns across multiple channels (web, content, trade shows, PR, and media). Oversee marketing automation, CRM campaigns, and data analytics to improve lead conversion and retention. Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all platforms and materials. Plan and manage trade show participation, including logistics and ROI measurement. Lead and mentor the Marketing Coordinator; manage relationships with agencies and vendors. Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to drive go-to-market alignment. Measure marketing performance using established KPIs; communicate insights and improvements to leadership.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Progressive B2B marketing experience; industrial/manufacturing sector preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
  • Comfortable working in a technical, cross-functional environment.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on initiative.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented.
  • Collaborative and approachable leadership style.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
