Paraplanner
We’re partnering with a well-respected, local wealth management firm to add a Paraplanner to their growing team.
This role directly impacts the quality of service clients receive and will play a key part in supporting advisors and internal teams with financial planning preparation, operational support, data management, and client meeting readiness. This is an ideal position for someone early in their financial services career who enjoys analytical work, is highly organized, and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Financial Planning Support: Assist in gathering essential client data to prepare comprehensive financial plans. Perform data entry and processing. Develop supporting data analysis, such as cash flow projections, education funding, life insurance needs, Social Security analysis, stock option modeling, and other planning calculations.
Client Meeting & Operations Support: Prepare materials and assemble net worth statements for new and existing client meetings. Compile portfolio analysis reports and ensure data accuracy. Support the advisory team with ad hoc client projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing the CFP®.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort working with numbers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented, collaborative nature with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
