Electrical Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an industry-leading, industrial automation manufacturer in Minneapolis who’s looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for their team! Our client has been in business for over 50 years, they’ve been consistently growing year-over-year (around 10%), and they develop industrial automation products used by a variety of businesses (start-ups to Fortune 500 companies). In this role, the Electrical Engineer will work as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional engineering team supporting the design & development of cutting-edge industrial automation products. This position offers strong technical ownership, exposure to the full product development lifecycle, and long-term career growth within a stable, engineering-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Design & develop analog circuits for industrial automation products.
- Perform schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Create & maintain engineering documentation (BOMs, ECOs, etc.).
- Train & provide technical guidance to technicians when needed.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product release activities.
- Other duties or projects as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.,
- 2+ years of Electrical Engineering experience or similar role (s).
- PCB design and board layout experience preferred.
- Experience with embedded systems or analog design is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
