Sourcing Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find a Sourcing Manager for their growing team! The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for building & implementing global sourcing strategies while maintaining a consistent & quality supply of products. This includes qualifying new suppliers, building & maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, looking for cost-savings opportunities, developing supplier scorecards & KPIs, and building a diverse & resilient supply chain. Responsibilities
- Qualify new suppliers and build & maintain supplier relationships.
- Build & implement global sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings & supply chain resiliency.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, contracts, terms, and service agreements.
- Develop supplier scorecards, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Track & manage tariffs, analyze market trends, and recommend solutions to company leadership.
- Other responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a sourcing, procurement, or purchasing role (or combination of roles).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with global suppliers and international sourcing environments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
