Demand Planner
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Minneapolis to find a Demand Planner for their growing team! The Demand Planner will be responsible for generating demand forecasts, maintaining inventory levels, partnering with cross-functional teams, and supporting S&OP processes. This is a brand-new role created due to growth as our client is adding a few key hires across the organization as they scale the business. They’re an industry-leading and global manufacturing company and are looking for a strong Demand Planner who can work autonomously in this role. Responsibilities
- Develop demand forecasts using historical data, market insights, and statistical models.
- Support S&OP processes by presenting demand outlooks, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Translate demand plans to maintain inventory levels while avoiding overstocking.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, accounting/finance, etc.) to facilitate demand plans based on business priorities.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and identify opportunities to improve forecasting models and planning.
- Generate & present demand planning reports to company leadership.
- Other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain role (or combination of roles).
- Exposure to S&OP processes and cross-functional planning environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, & problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
