Accounting Analyst
Location: Bloomington, MN
Onsite up to 2x a week
We are partnering with a manufacturing company to hire a Accounting Analyst to join a their growing accounting team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning core accounting responsibilities today while helping modernize and automate processes over time.
The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for general ledger and transactional accounting activities while partnering closely with leadership on improving workflows and process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Daily and monthly general ledger activities
- Support month-end close
- Handle tax payments and audit support,
- Support AP/AR and fixed asset accounting
- Process improvement, work with teams to help improve automations
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and operations to improve data quality and efficiency
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
- 4+ years of experience (ideally in a manufacturing industry)
- Strong communicator, enjoys working and communicating across departments
- Ability to "think outside the box." Likes to dig into processes and figure out ways of doing them better.
