Salary up to $140,000
SkyWater is partnering with a growing manufacturing and distribution company that is looking to hire a Accounting Manager to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of accounting principles in a manufacturing setting, and the ability to drive efficiency and accuracy within the team.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee daily operations of the accounting department.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial professionals.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.
- Coordinate and lead annual audits and tax filings.
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry trends.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
